Hello! My name is Humza,
I was born and raised in Los Angeles, California. In 2019, I received my TEFL/TESL certification from UCLA (University of California, Los Angeles). Right after that, I began teaching ESL (English as a Second Language). I also taught young children in preschool and elementary school. I moved to Barcelona at the end of 2021 and have been working as a private teacher and mentor ever since.

My teaching methods focus on developing fluency in both thinking and speaking. I immerse my students in the language through a variety of lessons and exercises that involve speaking, listening, reading, and writing. The ultimate goal is for my students to be able to express themselves clearly and, most importantly, to use critical thinking in English.Services
I provide individual and group (max. 4 students) lessons that can be given at your home, office, or a public place (cafe, library, park) within Barcelona. Online lessons are also available. Each class lasts an hour but can be longer if desired.Rates
- 35€/hour - at home lesson
- 30€/hour - lesson in a public place
- 25€/hour - online lesson
*The rates above are for a single student taking an hour class. Special rates are available for students who take more than 2 classes a week, long-term classes (3 months or more), and for groups.
